What is spinning?

Why do we spin articles?

In the online world, when an article page gains a top ranking in the Search engines, and the same content is found on another Web page it does not look good when search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo would put that second Web page in the second position in searches.

As a result penalized website will appear to be non-existent as they will not be shown in the search results anymore, something any Internet Marketer would absolutely not want.

Spintax comes from the word “spinning syntax.” It is the format used by article spinner softwares as well as article submission sites which produce or use spun articles.
For example, the sentence:

Could become:
The most {commonly used|popular|widely used|common|frequently used} acne treatments in the U.S. {are|tend to be|are usually|are generally|usually are} over the counter acne medications.
The curly braces encompass the texts which can be chosen randomly, and could result into:
The most popular acne treatments in the U.S. tend to be over the counter acne medications.
The widely used acne treatments in the U.S. are usually over the counter acne medications.
The frequently used acne treatments in the U.S. usually are over the counter acne medications.
And so on.
The resulting or spun articles have texts from the original article randomly changed while retaining the overall meaning.
Submitted spun articles will look unique to search engines.

How do we know spintax is unique?

To get the best chance of having our content picked up by search engines, our articles need to be unique.
Articles are spun by choosing synonyms and these synonyms come from a spinning Thesaurus.
We check the output of our spun articles to see how unique the re-writing process was.

This uniqueness affects how likely a search engine will be to cache and rank your page.
For uniqueness checked by Copyscape, we want it to be 70% and higher. 100% is the best of course, but we can be realistic as even new sites that quote 50% of their content get indexed.
